This traditional recipe is made with a lot of love and patience! Spoon sweets (sweet preserves) are offered as a gesture of hospitality, accompanied by a glass of cold water. They are made by gently boiling any kind of fruit that is in season, or in this case nuts, for several hours or even days!
Serving suggestions: Can be enjoyed over Greek yogurt, ice cream, with cheese, or simply on its own with a cold glass of water!
