DESCRIPTION

Virginia Peanuts are a type of peanut... different from the Valencia, Spanish and Runner. They are grown mostly in Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina in the sandy loamy soil along the coast.This soil allows the peanut to grow to such a large size. Our family selects only the top 2% of the crop, which is the largest and the best and roasts them in small batches in pure peanut oil. Considered the “gourmet” of peanuts, the Virginia type has more flavor and is crunchier than the other types.
